Temecula's Pro Dodgeball Team's latest update

Future Looks Bright for Faas, Bernad hangs up the headband

Today was a bitter sweet point in the Mulisha community. Bernad, founder and long time team captain, announced his resignation from the beloved past time. "I feel like its time for me to hang it up. There's a time when you know you can't play at the top level anymore and recently I've come to realize it." Bernad finished with a career 42 kills and 4 catches. "I mean in no way was he our top player, but he did have the great locker room presence every captain needs to possess. That's what made him a great leader," said 3 time All World MVP Jerry Byrne. Bernad will be finishing up his college degree in hopes of becoming a 7th grade P.E. teacher where he can help introduce the fundamentals of the game to aspiring future players of the game.

That's not all that happened today though. The sweet taste of Los Angeles is getting even closer as the days pass. "The closer I get to the date when I get to adorn the LADBS logo on my chest, the more I start to realize I will be becoming a part of something monumental in an organization based around championships. I just hope I can make as big of an impact there as I did here" said Faas. He hopes to extend his 2 yr contract at the end of its term to a possible 10-20 year agreement, which would be the longest contract ever signed in DB history. "i know he'll do great things there. Although he's not as good looking as I, he'll still be able to please the crowds in his own ways" said Byrne. The Playboys of dodgeball were at one time an inseparable force on the court, but now with the recent move, Faas will have to learn to play as the solo playboy of the game in a city where looking good comes a dime a dozen.
